Of course I like you, afterall, you was my instructor at one time.
We think we might know who it is! :)
My mother always told me that if they tease you -they really like you... they are trying to get your attention. Or they feel threatened in some way and are trying to bring you down a knotch to level the playing field:))))
I've always known our cottage on the lake was beautiful in its own "kitchy" way... thanks for capturing it in your photos. It makes me feel like I'm there when I look at them. They are EXACTLY the images I've been wanting to hang on the walls of our home. --Rachel
We went to Crystal from the time I was an infant to the summer I was seven.
I have only been back for a couple of day trips since. Annual pilgrimages were to Point Betsie, Gwen Frostic and a potter's studio. Daily pilgrimages with uncles were to a donut shop.
Almost all of my mom's siblings went with us and we rented a slew of cabins, not far from the dam. There was always a grown up to take the kids to the lake and my grandma made breakfast every morning in her cottage on the hill. (but the uncles still needed donuts) We called it Rosie's diner.

hello hello hello!! I love these photos that capture the beauty of water light sand ...and the freedom it offers to explore!
the water is definitely "crystal" clear! as usual, you did a good job showcasing your subject...

Hey Sandi - I love the lake bottom shot and have used it as the background on our computer - looks neat. Gary

The kids played Kick the Can every night.
