I am not a "pink" kind of girl... but I love the scent of the peony... and there is a kind of energy that the flower gives out. Blooms so huge and amazing yet delicate and short lived. The peony is a beautiful flower. My mother would cut one bloom and float it in a clear glass bowl... not unlike a fish bowl. I used to love it when the peonies bloomed at our house. My mother had rows of them in the garden and people driving by would stop to admire them... some would even come to the door to find out what they were. I guess you could say I Love this flower.

i just learned that peonies are suppose to bring luck - how true, how true! just the same, i like them, too...
