This is a photo of my sister in law. She almost died in a serious car crash on Feb. 20, 2005. One year has passed. It seems another lifetime ago... and at times like yesterday. Our family has much to be thankful for and today I remember and celebrate the gift of her life.
Sandi, I wish I could make a photo mosaic to go along with your picture. I would use a million small pictures to create a mosaic of my face. Snap shots of the way so many of you helped me physically and emotionally during my recovery. I am awed that I will never have a full memory or understanding of how much time and effort was given to make my life whole again. kat

We are celebrating because
she did not die...She was in the ICU for a long time... but... she lived and is quite fine... :)
Not only fine...back at her full pace! Swimming, biking, teaching..you name it. From nearly gone, to FULLY alive! She's awesome.

Memory is powerful.
I am thankful of the time we get to spend and touch each other's lives.
Glad to know you....and you have a big heart.

God is so cool! In the way he works in people's lives, this is an amazing story. Thanks for sharing.
