As imperceptibly as grief

...and thus, without a wing, or service of a keel, our summer made her light escape into the beautiful. -Emily Dickinson

--RED is such a difficult color...I am not fond of it. The moment I posted these photos I wanted to delete them. My husband keeps reminding me how beautiful fall is...and all the red leaves do catch my eye. So I am going to give red a go - I hope you enjoy this post. -and yes fall is lovely... -these photos are of a Japanese Maple in our yard.

I LOVE FALL! Too bad it's getting HOTTER here instead of colder. I think El Nino is getting Alzheimers. BOOO for living in the south. :) I got misquito bites two days ago, they are suppose to be DEAD! : ) Thanks for giving me a pice of season.

As quickly as the vibrant color came...it is gone! Most of the leaves are down. I am happy that I was able to get some photos before the grey of winter set in.

That top photo whispers the softness of autumn. Clear, bold colors in the leaves and the sunset. It just seems like the air is thinner, cleaner in fall.
