this is a birds nest made of horse hair. these little nests pop up all over at my sisters place -she has horses. the nests are teeny -a little smaller than the palm of your hand -tiny! they are beautiful. i was wishing for a little spring today... its really cold here! Brrrr! too cold to be outside.
it was finally cold here today. ice and wind, a moment of snow while i was outside, quite nice. :) then two minuets later gone. :) love this picture though. very nice design.
Hi there... finally a comment from me. Just had to say, no one has ever made our horse hair look as amazing as you have! :) I can identify: black tail hair from "Diamond," Red from "Babe" and "Trigger Digger Dodger Bodger," greys from "Facet" or "Skunk" I love these nests too..we keep one on our mantel at all times.
Seriously, I'm proud of you..you have amazing talent and beauty. S.
